The One-Legged Wolf Tavern
From the save, head for the southern cliff, where the tavern stands. Outside on the right, behind the cart, are 300 Coin. Inside, work through every patron in the room; one of them will hand you a Common Moonshine for the price of a conversation. The Troubadour's Lute crossbow stands on the stage to the left. The Barkeep sells five Common Moonshine and the Hand of Rock. And at the far table sits a warrior called Gragu, who wants exactly one thing: the heart of Vatra.
Temple of Vatra
East of the tavern the path is lined with petrified people, all of them currently furniture and none of them to be trusted on the return trip. Stand in the empty gates and drop down into the keep ruins.
Side buildings
Check every side building on the way in. In front of one stone lies a Legendary Tar, and behind that stone stands a sheep. Kill the sheep and it leaves behind a Sheephead Totem.
The candle chest
Up on the top platform sits a locked chest that charges three offerings, meaning three candles lit on stones. The first candle: on the stone to the left of the entrance. The second: on the stone ahead on the left. The third: on the right, inside the stone column. Light all three and the chest opens onto the Berserker's Stone, a tarstone that pays more damage the less health you are carrying.
The heart, and the way out
The heart of Vatra waits on the far altar. The moment you take it, the temple stops pretending to be a ruin: the main routes seal shut and every stone person in the halls wakes up and comes for you. Your exit is behind you. At the altar, turn around, drop down on the right into the room below, take the left room, squeeze through the narrow gap to fall one floor further, and pass through the gates.
The Gragu shell
Back at the tavern, hand the heart over. Gragu bites into it on the spot, and that bite kills him. Your gain: the Gragu shell, third of eight.
The Child
Touching the shell pulls you into The Child, Gragu's memory. Gragu marched with the band of the Arbiter of Flesh, and the band's business was hunting down divine bodies to eat and inherit the power inside them.
Break through the door ahead. Inside, more petrified people, and behind the central stone, a child. Squeeze the answers out of him. The divine power, he says, passed to Lavender. The Arbiter of Flesh orders the child killed. Your answer to that order is to turn on your own boss.
Blackridge Pass and the fortress
From the Blackridge Pass save, walk back a short way and descend northwest along the little bridges. Past the statue with the map, a stone platform holds fanatics and a spear witch to kill, a sarcophagus with a Ventrium, and three Weltcap growing by the cliff. The platform beyond it has more fanatics and a sarcophagus with a Laterite.
Opposite the first platform stands a fortress with a bricked-up door, and the door has a workaround. On the stone platform, break the wooden wall, walk through the empty arch behind it, and the door on the building swings open. Inside, read the note and take the elevator down. Kill the sorceress and the strong warrior, press the button on the wall, and ride the second elevator.
Flooded Village
The dungeon is a drowned village built around its own rooftops, with poison creatures nesting on the shingles. Keep to the right side. A Laterite rests on a stand on one of the roofs. Behind a building on the right, smash through the crates, kill the poison sorcerers, and take the Ventrium.
Deeper in lies a courtyard with cages, and in its pit lives a Caged Grisha. The fight is optional: the pit can be walked around, and the beast will never know what it missed.
The Damp Key
At the far edge, a wooden platform carries a door that only opens for the Damp Key, and a note beside it points where to look. Take the ladders down to the lower village. At the brick wall, kill the monsters and pick up the Dorsalite. Sorcerers on the rooftops will be shooting at you the whole time; climb up on the right side and clear them out, and step carefully, because one of those roofs collapses under your weight.
Down behind the houses wait more sorcerers and a spear witch. The stone stairs ahead climb back up, and they are the second route to the beast's pit, so skip them for now. Cross the wooden roofs instead to the far house in the corner, and lift the Damp Key off the crates in front of it. Climb the ladders back up, unlock the door, and take the Forgotten Crossbow waiting inside. Then get back to the surface quickly.
Gloomshade Grove
Out in the open again, keep going northwest to a clearing where sorcerers have made camp. By the tent lie moonshine and a Ventrium. On the left of the clearing, a corruption barricade blocks the road to the Citadel of Penance; that route belongs to a later part, so leave it closed for now.
Follow the path north and take the Laterite from the stand. Ahead, sorcerers and soldiers are busy killing each other, and the dead-end on the left hides three Weltcap. At the stone bridge, 250 Coin sit on the cart. The road splits here: left runs deeper into the grove, right crosses the bridge into the white cave.
Sanguine Caverns
On the stone bridge, dash past the tripwire, pick your way between the bear traps, and kill the rock thrower waiting past them. The white cave beyond runs with rivers of blood and is patrolled by soldiers and cherubs that pop out of nowhere. On the left, up on the rocks, a Ventrium; by the tent, two moonshine.
The red caves
In the red section of the cave, the fish statues hold a Tooth of Nochte, worth 750 Coin to whoever pries it loose. From the right side, climb down to the next camp on the cliff face. At the top, under the big tree, moonshine; at the bottom, by the red wall, two Laterite; in the camp by the tent, more moonshine. The fork past the camp splits the cave. The central red tunnel leads onward, and the right-hand path is a dead end with a secret in it.
The dead end's secret
On the right, use the light puddle to bounce upward. The eastern rocks hold cherubs and cube-shaped monsters. The eastern bridge from there leads back to clearings you have already crossed. On the middle tier, by the tree, a Ventrium. On the top tier stands a wall of stalactites: break it and take the Glimpse hidden behind it. Then double back.
In the center of the rocks, the red tunnel leads onward, and the part ends where it delivers you: at a beacon, with the caverns banked behind you.
